Returns & Exchanges – Sleep Warehouse
At Sleep Warehouse, we want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. We take pride in crafting high-quality, British-made beds, mattresses, divans, and ottomans, but we understand that sometimes things may not be as expected.
Our returns and exchange policy is designed to be clear, fair, and customer-friendly, ensuring a smooth and transparent process should you need to return an item.
Returning Unwanted Items
If you wish to return an item, it must be unused and in its original packaging. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or process refunds for products that are not returned in their original condition.
Why is packaging important?
Beds and mattresses are large, delicate items that require secure transportation. The original packaging ensures they remain protected in transit, reducing the risk of damage and allowing us to process your return quickly.
Returning Mattresses
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on opened or used mattresses and mattress toppers, unless they are faulty.
If your mattress is still sealed, unused, and in its original packaging, you may return it, subject to a £60 collection charge. This charge will be deducted from your refund.
Transporting large items requires careful handling, and we kindly ask customers to consider this before making a purchase.
Returning Beds, Divans & Other Items
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to decide whether your bed, divan, or furniture is right for you. If you choose to return an item, it must be:
- Unopened and unused
- In its original packaging
- In a re-saleable condition
A £60 collection fee applies to all bed and furniture returns. This amount will be deducted from your refund and covers the careful transportation of large goods.
Your Rights
This policy is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which give customers the right to cancel an order within 14 days of delivery without needing to provide a reason.
Cancellations Before Delivery
If you need to cancel your order before delivery has taken place, please notify us as soon as possible.
- Orders cancelled within 24 hours of purchase will be refunded in full.
- Orders cancelled after 24 hours will incur a £60 cancellation fee, as your item will have been allocated for dispatch.
Once an item has been scheduled for delivery, costs are incurred on our end, and this charge covers the expenses associated with processing late cancellations.
Refunds
Refunds will only be processed if items are returned in their original packaging and are in a re-saleable condition.
- Refunds will be issued within 14 working days of us receiving the returned item.
- Any collection or cancellation fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
